ETS 803B Resistance Probe / Resistivity Probe

ETS 803B Resistance Probe / Resistivity Probe (Surface & Volume)

The Model 803B Surface / Volume Resistance / Resistivity Probe complies with the requirements specified in ESD STM11.11, 11.12 and ASTM D-257 for measuring surface & volume resistance of conductive, static dissipative and insulative planar material. The Probe provides the specified 5-lb (2.2 kg) weight. The electrodes are made from silver-impregnated silicon rubber with Shore-A hardness of 65 durometer to ensure good probe-to-test-surface contact. Contact resistance of less than 1 ohm enables measurements of less than 10 Ohms to be made. Teflon insulators provide high insulation resistance between electrodes under most humidity conditions. The 803B comes complete with 4" (10.3 cm) metal and acrylic test beds. Standard banana jacks make the Probe compatible with resistance meter having cables with banana plug connectors.

ETS 853 Surface and Volume/Resistivity Test Fixture

ETS 853 Surface & Volume Resistance/Resistivity Test Fixture

EN 1149-1 & 2 are European Standards for measuring the resistance properties of electrostatic protective clothing. EN 1149-1 is most appropriate for materials when the electrostatic dissipative behavior is based on surface conductivity. This test determines resistance over short distances and may not be appropriate for evaluating full garments. EN 1149-2 is most appropriate for complete garments when the electrostatic dissipative behavior is based on the bulk conductivity of the material.

ETS 5506 Environmental Chamber

ETS 5506 Environmental Chamber

The 5506 Series is a multi-purpose 9 cu. ft. (225 L) acrylic benchtop chamber designed for both laboratory and production applications. Users can select from a wide range of ETS controllers and operating systems to meet their exact performance criteria. The 5506 can be used for conditioning, testing, storage and fabrication in electronic, electrostatic, biomedical, pharmaceutical, university research, R&D and many other applications. The chamber is large enough to accommodate equipment, fixtures, samples, assemblies and other items while fitting onto a standard workbench. Uses can vary from a basic uncontrolled box to full range precision humidity and temperature control. ClearView Acrylic construction provides excellent internal visibility. Accessories may include PID and On/Off Controllers along with humidification, dehumidification, heating and cooling systems.

ETS 5532 Controlled Envirnoment Chamber

ETS 5532 Controlled Envirnoment Chamber

The Model 5532 is designed to accommodate equipment and material requiring excellent visibility, precision, stability and a large internal work area (13 cu. ft., 368 l). Independently maintain humidity from <10 to >98% RH and temperature from 64-135°F (18-55°C). Uses include weighing, testing, storage, fabrication and aging in biomedical, pharmaceutical, automotive, electronic, DOD, electrostatic, university research and other applications.

ETS 9910 PurePulse Semi-Automatic Electrostatic Discharge Simulator

ETS 9910 PurePulse™ Semi-Automatic Electrostatic Discharge Simulator (HBM, MM, HMM, CDM)

The Model 9910 PurePulse™ Semi-Automatic Electrostatic Discharge Simulator, which replaced the previous generation model 910, is a completely integrated system used to determine the ESD susceptibility level of electronic devices up to ±8kV in accordance with Mil-Std 883C Method 3015 and ESD STM 5.1 and 5.2.

ETS 4431T Shielded Bag Test System

ETS 4431T Shielded Bag Test System

The Model 4431T is a turnkey shielded bag test system that includes the Test Unit, Oscilloscope, Computer and ETS Test Suite Manager software that is designed to perform testing in accordance with ESDA STM11.31 & EIA-541. The ETS Model 4431T Shielded Bag Test System is a complete system that generates the specified ESD pulse applied to the outside surface of the bag and detects either the voltage or current induced onto a capacitive sensor placed inside the bag. The Test Suite Manager Program displays the waveforms, calculates the energy of the discharge pulse induced inside the test bag and processes the data in accordance with ESD STM 11.31. It also automatically controls the Model 4431 and program the oscilloscope.

ETS 863/6487 Resistance Meter

ETS 863/6487 Resistance Meter (For Material Development & Evaluation)

The Model 863/6487 Laboratory Resistance Meter is capable of measuring current from 20fa to 20ma and resistance from 50 Ω to 10E15 Ω. Source voltages can be manually selected from 0.2mV to 505V Specific voltages can be programmed as a default.

The feedback circuit design reduces voltage burden to 200mV which makes the instrument function like and ideal ammeter. This enables it to make highly accurate current measurements, even in circuits with very low source voltages.

ETS 4406 Static Decay Meter

ETS 4406 Static Decay Meter

The ETS Model 4406 Static Decay Meter, which replaced the previous generation Model 406, meets the requirements for static charge dissipation and static decay rate testing as required by DOD, NFPA, ESDA, INDA, EIA, CECC and other North American, European Union and Asian test specifications. A variety of electrode configurations are available which enable the static dissipative characteristics of film, fabric, foam, powder, loose fill, plastic, glass, paper, liners, formed parts (non-flat), nonwovens, bags, mats, cellulose, carriers, tote boxes, dispensing equipment, garments, tables, consumer products, seating, flooring and many other materials to be evaluated for electrostatic characterization.

The Model 4406 can be used for static decay analysis in R&D (Research & Development), QC (Quality Control) and other applications to test materials where static electricity can impact performance, production, manufacturing, handling, appearance, safety and personnel comfort.

ETS 406D Static Decay Meter

ETS 406D Static Decay Meter (Discontinued)

The ETS 406D Static Decay Meter meets the requirements for static charge dissipation and static decay rate testing as required by DOD, NFPA, ESDA, INDA and EIA test specs.
