  1. Please reconnect the data cable between the instrument and the computer.
  2. If there is still a problem, please re-select the connection port on the software (select menu: option-instrument port, please try COM1, 2, 3, 4 one by one) If it still fails to connect, please reset the instrument.
    Note: This will delete all data stored in the instrument!
    The method is: select on the menu of the instrument: configuration-database tool-restore the original factory settings.
    a) If there are still connection problems, please install a USA to RS232 interface on your computer, and use this interface to connect to the instrument.
    b) If you have any questions, please contact X-Rite engineers.

The battery voltage is too low. Please check whether the battery has been inserted. If it is already installed Please charge the battery for 10 minutes before using it.

At this time, the intensity of the reading lamp becomes weak, and the measurement can still be carried out. However, it is best to replace the reading lamp as soon as possible. For the replacement of the light source, please contact the X-Rite service center, and you cannot replace it by yourself.
