933後向反射工作站措施回射（RA）和材料的回射顏色。933包含3軸機動測角器，具有連續可調β1（-60°到60°），β2（-60°到60°），和ε（-180°到180°）的角度，以及機動連續可調α（0.2°至2°）角機構。顏色檢測器上的觀察角度被固定在0.33°。
初級光傳感器會見與CIE光源“A”燈一起使用時的CIE標準的人眼響應ASTM E1709要求。測光濾波器準確地測量不同的顏色，而不需要計算校正因子。顏色檢測器設有用於產生CIE1931顏色坐標中的3通道RGB傳感器。
用戶界面配有高分辨率彩色觸摸屏。一個單獨的圖形協處理器提供快速的，直觀的響應以及清楚地描繪的文本和圖像，便於查看相關的數據。
